Do work within the Bioformats testing framework, developing a set of tests that validate features needed for interoperability with CellProfiler. Develop regression tests for prior known issues. Find a subset of the coverage suite that tests most commonly read and written formats, but takes a minimum of time to execute.

I've contributed some tests related to file handles and image readers, but have held off on more extensive tests until the current release cycle finishes.

Need to test the trunk build against CellProfiler, especially the new features related to file access.
