"No border" option ignored under linux + wrong pointer coordinates

Reported by: landinig Owned by: curtis
Priority: major Milestone: imagej2-unscheduled
Component: Core Version:
Severity: serious Keywords:
Cc: Blocked By:
Blocking: #1629

Description

Create a small 2x2 image.
IJ2 adds a 2 pixel black border around it, regardless of the "No image border" option in Edit>Options>Appearance... being ticked.

In addition, hovering on the image, returns coordinates of the pointer (in the status line) while it is at the *border*. So the pointer is not taking account of the border and it does not take notice of the option not to draw it.

Funny in IJ1 I could never draw the border around the images, in IJ2 I cannot get rid of it!

I also realised that the top/bottom rows and left/right columns, when zoomed are shown just half of the "pixel" (1/4 at the corners) the rest is covered by the black border.
