In other words: nothing will ever be put into "Program Files" or similar. Just
create a shortcut to the ImageJ-win64.exe and you should be good to go!

If you really want the Fiji icon instead, you can run Help > Update..., click
Advanced mode, change the view to "All files", type "fiji-win64" into the box,
and mark the "fiji-win64.exe" file for installation. Then you'll have another
launcher which also starts the program, but has the Fiji icon instead of the
ImageJ2 one.

As for the wiki page, I presume you mean the "Install Fiji on Windows" page
(http://imagej.net/Install_Fiji_on_Windows)? Apologies that those pages are out
of date; no one has had time to update them. Feel free to do so, if you wish --
it would help others in the future to avoid confusion!
