You could try launching ImageJ from the console [1] to get more information. Or
turn on Debug mode in Edit > Options > Misc, which will redirect the console to
the ImageJ log. I'm guessing there is an exception happening, which is normally
silently discarded [2].

Anyway, since this is a problem with an external update site, you will need to
contact the maintainer of that site [3].
