Description

Develop the methods, results, and conclusions sections of this paper. The paper describes the application and results using OpenCL within Java to leverage GPU based compute resources in ImageJ.

Draft publication submitted for internal review on 14 Sept, 2010. OpenCL hardware released to acquisition system use. Code successfully passes unit testing and fully integrated code demonstrates > 6.24x increase. The scalable nature of the code design supports performance > 20x through simple hardware addition. Publication is intended for J.o. Bioinformatics.
