[ImageJ-devel] A fast JVM based on LuaJIT

Hi all (in particular, the ImgLib2 developers),

the site https://cowlark.com/luje/doc/stable/doc/index.wiki claims that
their JVM which converts Java bytecode into Lua bytecode and runs it in
LuaJIT sometimes outperforms hotspot.

Unfortunately, it does not support AWT (yet) so there is no good way for
me to test things, but maybe one of the ImgLib2 guys wants to try it?
