Hello,

 There are troubleshooting steps posted in this report for deleting a file that
isn't cleaned up properly after upgrading:

Could you give those steps a try and let me know if it fixes the problem?

Two minor questions:
- Do you remember having any update sites enabled before updating?
- If you are try running Fiji from the command prompt do you see any error
statements..?
