Wayne wrote to me that it works in ImageJ but not in Fiji:

This does appear to be a Fiji-specific bug. When using Java 1.8, the Monitor
Memory window works in ImageJ but not in Fiji.

Best regards,

I tested this --
Monitor memory works in IJ 1.50a , freshly installed.
However, if I close the monitor memory window and run it again, it fails.
I will send this info also to Wayne.

When Fiji opens, monitor memory fails right away -- however, when my Fiji
opens, the opens a window to notify me of something (a duplicate class from
Bonej).
It also opens the log and prints one word -- "undefined"
So that may have the same effect as running the monitor memory twice....
