Tecedor: This issue was being tracked on the OME bug tracker:

https://trac.openmicroscopy.org.uk/ome/ticket/12144

The issue is now fixed, and the changes merged:

https://github.com/openmicroscopy/bioformats/pull/1399

So you should be able to receive the fix by enabling the Bio-Formats update
site as described at:

http://imagej.net/Bio-Formats#Daily_builds
