If you do [test #3 JPG macro] minus [test #2 JPG macro], you get 28s-18s = 10s,
the file load overhead caused by SCIFIO ON during manual load.   If you can get
rid of that overhead, you'll be back to the performance of IJ1 but with the
nice features of IJ2 SCIFIO.  Looking forward to a solution.
