I finagled in a couple of minutes to identify the bug. Actually, I should have
seen it right away, but I missed that the problem occurs while gathering usage
statistics.

So I filed a pull request: https://github.com/imagej/imagej-legacy/pull/77 (but
I won't have time to merge it, let alone to think hard whether my patch is
actually the correct thing to do or just a measly workaround).

Nevertheless, I will attach a replacement for jars/imagej-legacy-0.7.3.jar
which you can use in the meantime to get things working on your side again.
