with ImageJ & Friends (I2K)
A forum for discussing forward looking strategies for dealing with the ever increasing flood of large and content rich microscopy imagery. EMBL

Heidelberg, Germany

Courses and Workshops
2018 Sep 11-20 Microspectroscopy;
Functional Imaging of Biological systems
FEBS practical course Nijmegen and Wageningen, the Netherlands
2018 Sep 17-21 Big Data Image Processing & Analysis (BigDIPA) Course The course will provide a mix of strategies for dealing with biological/biomedical big data image sources, using examples of image analyses drawn from advanced cell fluorescence microscopy techniques and neurobiology to highlight fundamental concepts and skills. The Center for Complex Biological Systems, University of California Irvine

Irvine, CA USA

2018 Oct 16-19 NEUBIAS TS8 and TS9 BioImage Analysis Schools: Early Career Investigators (life scientists), Facility staff (imaging & analysis staff from core-facilities) Edinburgh, Scotland
2018 Oct 22-26 13th LFD Workshop in Advanced Fluorescence Imaging and Dynamics This workshop outlines advanced concepts of fluorescence imaging techniques and instrumentation, including advanced theoretical lectures, computer based training on data analysis and simulations, and hands on laboratory training using the fluorescence microscopy instrumentation of the LFD facility. Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics

University of California, Irvine Irvine, CA USA

2018 April 11-13 Digital Image Analysis with ImageJ This intensive 3-day workshop taught by Dr. Lai Ding, Senior Imaging Scientist of the NeuroTechnology Studio, introduces ImageJ, its basic functions, and its macro programming capabilities. Using real imaging projects, Dr. Ding will demonstrate common image analysis tasks such as basic image processing, stack alignment, cell counting and measurement. Macro writing will be covered to demonstrate how to automate a series of ImageJ commands, to process massive datasets automatically and to store results as desired. Harvard Medical School

Boston, MA
