Add-ons

There are 6 Add-ons included on this disk.  See the Add-ons about text for more information.

FileIO - Reads and writes a simple binary format.  This is an example showing how the Extenstions Package (see below) can be used to add file formats to MacPhase.

Macro Assist - A faceless Add-on which provides single or multiple line selection execution.

Memory Info - Places a small window in MacPhase which shows the available memory.

QT Player - Adds QuickTime movie playing.

Quick Capture - Add-on which supports the Data Translation Quick Capture frame grabber.  Support for the Quick Capture card is already included in MacPhase, but in coming versions of MacPhase support for this will be removed.  Rather, the Add-on will provide the support.  Not everyone has a Quick Capture.

Video - This Add-on provides support for vdig video digitizers like in the AV Macs.  This has only been tested on an 840AV so let me know if it doesn't work.

Extensions Package
-------------------------------

The Extension Package provides a more detailed look at how to write Add-ons.  It includes an interface to several call back functions and data structures.  It also includes more sample code in pascal and C.

The Extension Package will be available by the end of Aug 1994.  It will be priced at $229 SRP.  It will have a selling price of around $159.
