        <pre>Fiji with imageJ 1.50e - 64 bit linux PC.
open bat cochlea sample image
save as AVI, no compression, 7 fps
import of .avi into power point on windows 7 pc,  (office professional plus
2010, 14.0.7165.5000 32 bit) fails with error message
"PowerPoint  cannot insert a video from the selected file. Verify that the
necessary codec for this media format is installed, and then try again.

Same process with Fiji / ImageJ1.50b on windows 7 pc works as expected.

Using JPEG compression also fails for version 1.50e, but the movie is imported
into powerpoint, but its got a red cross in it and says in it "this image can
not currently be displayed"

apple quicktime is nbot installed on this

So the change from IJ version 1.50b to 1.50e broke it, or its somehow differnt
on linux and windows and it's not the  IJ  version change?
