I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Gnome.
I downloaded and tried to run the latest version of Fiji 1.50e 19 November 2015
and most of the headers of the submenues appear blank. They are active though
but it is quite inconvenient. 
Error message window are also empty.

I do not encounter this problem on the same machine with ImageJ 1.49 bundled
with Java 1.8.0_45.

I would be glad if you could help me fixing this issue.
