I am not sure that it's the correct behaviour but my guess will be that the new
SCIFIO integration in IJ2 will allow to open BF files with File > Open (or drag
and drop) AND ALSO File > Save will just do the opposite, detecting the correct
format to write on hard drive.
But when I open an OME Tiff (could be any other type of file I guess) then File
> Save (with .ome.tif as a suffix) only write a "classic" IJ Tiff file which
has been confirmed with tiffcomment command (no OME XML in output). Note that
Plugins > BF > BF exporter works fine.
Is that the correct behaviour guys ?
Thank you,
